Terrin, nice picture. What kind of water temp did you find? Should be jerk bait time also.

Beautiful fish. Congrats on a nice hour's work in what has been some tough conditions. And thanks for the report!

I didn't take the time to notice Mike. I should go out tomorrow and I'll inform.

I threw a Rick Clunn Jerk bait, but I never seem to get bit on it, I've tried a bunch of colors, I bought them a few years ago because they seemed a fair price, but have caught very few fish on it! Maybe I need to venture into the 20 dollar grabs just like the WP, but my spook is too good for me and way cheaper (23 year old with a new wife budget here)

Terrin, there are a lot of us who always have a spook tied on. You're in good company there. Good luck tomorrow.

Terrin, I catch a fair amount of jerk bait fish and that RC STX is my absolute favorite bait. Don't toss them away.,

Before you start getting into the $20 baits give the SPRO McSticks a try for $12. I think they are the bee's knees. Come stock with quality split rings, gammy hooks and a BUNCH of Ozark region catchin' colors (Mike McClelland influenced baits).

He's right about this. Blue Bandit and Ghost Table Rock Shad are good starting places on colors in the SPRO lineup. The original suspending McStick 110 and the McRip 85 (for really cold water) are what you want for basic jerk bait fishing around here.

Nice fishing there Terrin.  I'll back Champ up on the STX recommendation, they can catch fish.
