Seth Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 We put in at Coffmann around 9:30am and caught two limits off of three docks in a couple of hours. Main lake docks over deep water with shad was the ticket. Lure color didn't matter much, but you did have to let the bait sink down 8-12' or else you wouldn't get bit. WeekendWarrior Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 All that kneeling down to shoot under dock and back up I'd be sore for three days ?. Good job! Seth 1

That's the part about Shooting Docks that gets old fast. After spending a week perfecting the technique, and buying the perfect rod/reel to do it with, I THEN discovered that it was my least favorite way to catch crappie. It would be better from an old stock V-bottom Richline. Doing it from an elevated bassboat deck is a PIA.
Seth Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 Oh come on fellas! It helps keep a guy limbered up in that cold weather. fishinwrench 1
nomolites Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Nice. Classic LOZ dock fishing; didn't take you long at all to load up. Mike Seth 1
