I got the opportunity to fish with my son today

i sure enjoyed spending time with him   Never grow tired of this 

 

We put in at old state  water was 45.3  went straight to dam  

fished wind in and wind out 

we threw a rigs for a few hours  with a zero  threw them over brush threw them over stump fields 

even moved up shallow and threw them around on both sides of lake

we  ended up cranking and spinnerbaiting   And had several quality fish 

Enjoyed  netting them for you bubs

Looks like you guys don't need any help, what can a rig do for a couple pro's like you all? What ever works, right? Really nice !

I agree with Dan. Throw those A-Rigs away and do what you guys do! I would have loved to be a fly on the wall watching you all hammer those fish! Great memories right there, thanks for sharing!

Sure was a great memory to add to the archive  fellows 

shoot I remember him dragging a worm with a zebco when he was 7 

lol

we had our spots all to are self yesterday    Just a great day !

Thanks for the report D.  Looks like you guys figured them out.   I have to busy with all the holiday stuff to get a chance to get on the water.  Hoping I can get out this weekend.  I have tried to make myself fish the A-Rig all day but I have yet to become a big fan of it.  On Stockton, I seem to de better with a stick bait or wart.  On other lakes I have had better success with the A-Rig but its still not my favorite way to fish.

Glad to see you and your son having success! Great fish! Thanks for posting. I agree with the others in just keep doing what you have been doing well. It's nice to add to the arsenal, particularly if you fishing by yourself. However, seems to me that it's better to just put fish in the boat when out with your family and friends.
