I vowed at that moment to never use 100% fluoro again. My buddy suggested I try Yozuri Hybrid...I've never looked back, it really seems to be the best of both worlds. It's got a different extrusion process than most copoly's. It's definately not perfect...a little too much stretch in the smaller diameters, and a little too much memory in the bigger diameters, but it's as strong as steel with excellent knot strength and reasonably priced. I'm also able to use it on top water with not much problem. I really like how manageable Yozuri Hybrid is and also like you said it has great strength while also holding a knot as well. Before Yozuri I had been using P-Line Fluoroclear and it is good line but I found when I went down to 4lb test for pan fishing it had HORRIBLE knot strength. Don't what it was but knots would just slip on the smaller diameter stuff. Was fine in the 8 and 10lb but the 4lb was terrible. Made me try out the Yozuri and I haven't looking back on spinning gear. vernon 1

I went through a couple lines before Yozuri. I tried Sufix siege, promix, elite, berkley sensation, berkley 100% fluoro etc. Then one day i found a 600 yard spool of yozuri on ebay marked down to 8 bucks with free shipping and that was the end of it. I actually just got a spool of #6 in the mail today that's going to go on a Revo rocket spinning reel.

Longball22 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I've gone to Maxima almost exclusively on spinning and baitcasting equipment. I've also used P-Line and had pretty good luck, but I'm just more confident in Maxima.
Ranger Z22 Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Seaguar for jigs, worms etc Suffix Elite or Siege, in green or smoke for the rest.
