Members moelkhuntr Posted January 27, 2017 Members Posted January 27, 2017 Going to Pomme for a week 1st of April. Which direction from Hermitage side. Be staying in Hermitage. First time I've fished on that side of state. Be bass fishing only.
Ranger520vx Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Can't tell you for sure what they will be doing this year but first week of April last year I was whacking some good ones on square bills. They were in 5 fow or less halfway back in coves.
Ketchup Posted February 1, 2017 Posted February 1, 2017 Theres NO bass in Pomme due to the musky munching on them. I would stay on the east side of the state if i were you. ? TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
jim m Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 listen to ketchup, aint no bass left in pomme, the only bass left in this part of missouri are in table rock Ketchup 1
MOPanfisher Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Sad but true all the bass, walleye and decent crappie have been eaten, nothing but musky and short crappie left. The first week of April could be anything from sunny and 80 degrees to snow and a north wind. Jerks can be good along windy banks and yep if the sun is warming the water nicely they can be back is some fairly shallow water and hungry. Just play it by ear, you may not catch any lunkers but should be able to catch fish.
MOPanfisher Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Please do and sore mouth as many as you can before I start walleye fishing and crappie fishing in earnest.
