Members moturkey Posted February 25, 2017 Members Posted February 25, 2017 The wind made it tough paddling upstream today, but I didn't have to go too far to find a nice hole. Found a couple spots, a big drum and this dandy today, all on the HD craw. 18.5" and a belly like a sumo wrestler. I wish I had a scale on me. Mitch f, MOsmallies, bkbying89 and 16 others 19
moguy1973 Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Wow, that's a great one. Look at the belly on that one! Mitch f 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Al Agnew Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 I believe that's a hybrid. Look at the rows of dark spots on the lower side. If so, that's probably the heaviest stream smallmouth/spot hybrid I've ever seen, though my brother caught one a half inch longer (but a lot skinnier). Hog Wally, Brian Jones and Mitch f 3
Smalliebigs Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Awesome fish and as usual the craw nails big fish. Congrats Mitch f 1
