176champion Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 My fingers split in the winter time due to me working on cars and trucks, you would think the oil's and greases would actually help but that not so, tends to dry out the skin and the solvents really tear them up. When i started doing automatic transmissions i had the cleanest softest hand you have ever seen and no more skin cracking...lol...i can survive with cracked skin but this IBS i have right now is for the birds...lol I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! I've got some construction and mechanic friends whose hands are so swollen and red this time of the year that I guess they don't even notice cracks, cuts and splits like some of us wienies do.
