N9BOW
After getting my quote for a Stealth sled with their price hikes (less my repeat customer discount) I will have to pass on 20k. I am now looking at a TopWater or an Xtream Jet boat. I cant seem to find too many detailed picks of fit and finish on both boats and interior options. What I have managed to find via Google looks good for both boats. If anyone has either of these and wouldn't mind sharing picks I would appreciate it. If you have any experience with Xtream I would love some input on those two. I see they have 20 inch sides. Any input would be appreciated. (how they run with a jet) BTW I have a lead on a used TopWater 2015 with 2016 trailer has only a few hrs on it as I understand @Ham but it has a 30HP prop so the transom would need to be raised. Not sure I want to go through the hassle of a mod, then I would have to either keep or try to sell the motor, but then I would be back close to the quote from StealthCraft. Ham
I've seen an Xtreme or two and I'm sure they are nice boats. I'm not sure the advantages of 20 inch sides, but whatever. Fit and finish on this generation of Supremes and Shawnees is very nice. my preference would be the Topwater, but that doesn't have to be the plan for anybody else. I love the boat I have. It's paid for. It will be the last 42 inch bottom boat I EVER have though. That's my one hard suggestion. Try to get 48 inch or wider. grizwilson 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. N9BOW
figured more freeboard would help with water splashing while motoring. maybe not an issue with these boats. Ive had wet rides because of spray - no fun. I am also looking at the supremes too based on the other thread going on around the same topic. (I missed that before posting this one) Yeah I am looking at the 207 supreme which is the narrowest of the bunch at 48" I have looked at the others models that have 50" and 60"
Ham
I don't remember spray being much of an issue, but I also don't like to fool with the White when wind is much over 10 mph Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Members Big_Jake
I've also been boat shopping. I feel pretty confident in going with Topwater at this point. I went by their shop and saw different boats in various stages of production - I came away impressed with them. I love the idea of the 60" but I have kids, friends, customers, etc so I think it makes more sense. Anyway, I'm excited, hopefully I won't have to wait too long to get the boat. Ham
The 60 " boat will be a little slower, but should run shallow and get a crap ton of lift off that big flat bottom. There aren't a whole lot of places that the 60 " hull is going to keep you from running. Only question is jet or prop? N9BOW 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Members Big_Jake
Jet for me - My logic is that I don't know the river will enough to not destroy prop after prop (which I've been efficiently doing). Also, I'm really limited to where I fish during minimum flow. N9BOW

Does Topwater offer a warranty on their boats?
