GREENTRITON Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 With the water down, what ramp would be better to use At Aunts creek Ramp North or South Ramp?? I heard a story about someone backing off the end of ramp due to low water, don;t no if it was north or south ramp? come on rain.. Thanks..
Bill Babler Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I've been launching on the front ramp no problem. Have not been to the back. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Ketchup Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 That was my concern at Cape yesterday. Did have to back so far down that water was under drivers door. With a 4 door truck it's not easy walking along the step rail holding on, hoping not to fall in the water before I climb into the bed. mixermarkb and magicwormman 2 TinBoats BassClub. I've got a cab-high topper so getting into the bed is not an option. 50' rope does the job for me. I'm assuming you have a bunk trailer... GREENTRITON Posted March 7, 2017 Author Posted March 7, 2017 Hey BILL- would the front ramp be the South or north Ramp?? Thanks
Ranger Z22 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I am not Bill but live 3 minutes from the ramp, both can be used. Champ188 1

But at my age, sometimes considering something is as far as it goes. I did leave the strap with slack hooked up incase the trailer tool a 2' fall off the edge of the concrete. Not sure how far out the ramps go. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Champ188 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 I bought one of these last year. Works like a charm. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Z-Launch_Watercraft_Launch_Cord/descpage-EZLAN.html

176champion Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 That's the one thing i like about my little Ford ranger pickup..being able to get into the bed of the truck pretty easy to get on tongue of trailer to climb into boat. I just bought a full sized Ford pickup to tow with now so thats all out the window...lol....i do have a nice piece of 1/2 inch rope i use from time to time to launch boat with. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
