Sore Thumbs
It was a rough day for me. I finished 67th out of 188. Unfortunately I blew my motor at around 11am in the back part of Horse Creek. That's about 25miles from take-off. We were able to get towed from the back to the bridge at Horse Creek. From there we just waited for someone that had the same weigh in time that we had. I stayed with the boat and my Co-angler transport ed our fish in another competitors boat. After weigh in my Co brought my truck over to pick me up. Hopefully I can get boat fixed by April first. That's asking a lot this time of year though. magicwormman

Sore Thumbs
Gonna piggy back this conversation with a Yamaha HPDI question. Hopefully someone will know. Can an 06 motor have a scanner hooked up to it to see what may have caused issue? If not there are several theories of what might have caused this. The engine has 279 hours. I have read about fuel injectors that might have caused it and I have read that there might be a recall on oil pumps. How would I know if the oil pump has been replaced already? Sore Thumbs
Thanks for the kind words. I have a mechanic that I trust and will give me a better deal than anyone. He went to Yamaha school and used to work for a new boat dealer. Codywskeeter1521
