Dan the fisherman Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 I've fished 4 days this week and man what a week. I've trolled 2 and casted 2. All days produced quality and numbers. I've probably caught 15 striper, 2 dozen whites and more crappie than I can shake a stick at. Don't even need live bait. All fish were caught on umbrellas and cranks. Bass as y'all know have been on fire also. Bama rig and jerk bait have killed it for me this week. Water temps r 51-52 in PC and high 53s in the pt 12 area. PC to 12 is where I've been concentrating my efforts. Man it's been a blast. Guys get out there and get ya some! I could ramble on and on how good the fishin is but I'll end it with a few picss. Be good and stay safe out there fellas Sore Thumbs, Vinsott, nomolites and 8 others 11
Stump bumper Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 I was in the PC area today out to point 10 and between the islands from 3 until dark. I could not find the shad, bass were close to structure. I did manage a few big Blacks on a rig and a small striper. I also had a double on Arig but not the kind of pics you showed. Quillback, Ozark Flyer, Vinsott and 3 others 6

It is obvious that you continue to put in the time to find and catch fish. You're out there when a lot of us are sitting at home posting on the internet. Great job! 12 hours ago, Stump bumper said: I did manage a few big Blacks on a rig and a small striper. I also had a double on Arig but not the kind of pics you showed. Stump Bumper - nice striper and pretty awesome to catch a couple at one time on your a-rig! 9 hours ago, Vinsott said: got me a nice largemouth today. Vinsott - Great bass! I'd be happy with one or two of those. Dan the fisherman 1
Members Alumacraft190 Posted March 18, 2017 Members Posted March 18, 2017 Coming in Wednesday night, staying down near Horseshoe. Looking forward to hitting it hard for the striper. Has the mud line settled already or has there been just enough rain to keep it moving through? Weather for next week looks breezy and like a roller coaster or temps...hoping for the best!
Dan the fisherman Posted March 18, 2017 Author Posted March 18, 2017 I noticed a light mud line at pt12. Barley noticeable though. I could only see it with my polarized glasses. Carl W 1
Members Alumacraft190 Posted March 18, 2017 Members Posted March 18, 2017 Good deal, thanks for the info Dan.
Members Alumacraft190 Posted March 21, 2017 Members Posted March 21, 2017 Well after much debate it looks like mother nature is going to hold us off at least for now. Pushed trip back 2 weeks with the weekend forecast showing solid storms, wind, and rain. Hopefully they dont shut off or get to main lake between now and 1st weekend of April. With all this rain in the forecast it will be interesting.
Dan the fisherman Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 Should be interesting, I'm curious what the rain will do also. I'm down for figuring it out n e ways. ? Pm me and maybe we can hit the lake at the same time and get something going. Wife gets back into town the 4th of April. Let me know
