Upper Gasconade

Can anyone give me much information on the Gasconade between Wilbur Allen access and the Forest Service access below Falcon.  Looking for a new stretch of water for a multi day float.

Been a long time since I floated it, but as I remember it, that float was decent water, decent fishing, about as many largemouth as smallmouth, not a lot of gravel bars, and several cottonmouths.  Worth doing.

The stretch between Competition and Falcon is better IMO than the stretch below Falcon.

If the question is ever should I go to (Insert place here) on the Gasconade the answer is always yes.

It's about decent gravel bars up there. You might come upon a good one at 3 or 4 in the afternoon, say "Nah," let's keep moving. At 8 pm, you're starting to question your previous decision. But, that's half the fun anyway.
