I know a lot of guys that constantly gripe about how expensive boats are but a lot of them don't ever seem to factor in the cost of electronics and motors - both outboard and trollers.

Boats are really kinda like airplanes in that both are really pretty cheap until you start factoring in electronics and engines.  I would guess that most new 20 foot and up bass boats also include at least 30K in that kind of stuff.

Heck, I saw somewhere that the WHEELS  my trailer go for a thousand bucks!

Just think of all the guys that will have THREE of these new Lowrance units installed on their boats - over 15K right there alone.  Almost makes me feel at least a little bit less stupid for having spent 70K on my Z521.
