Hard to believe that iT would jump all the way up to 1600 cfs. I would guess it wouldn't be great for fishing at that level. 

I was pretty shocked that it got that high as well considering it hasn't gotten above 80 cfs up to this point. I think I will hold off until Monday afternoon or possibly Tuesday... But I'm pumped to head that direction now that we have some water and current in the river!

Already back below 800 cfs. Ill be down Tuesday morning either way.

As long as they don't get enough rain overnight to bring the river back up I'm going to give it a try after work tomorrow. I'll let you know how I do if I end up going.

I fished 215 bridge by Morrisville for 1/2 hour this afternoon.  Muddy water no bites.  Did see an airboat go by like in a swamp, weird.

I've seen the airboat over there twice this year. I don't think he does any fishing just sight seeing up and down the river. Did they get enough rain over there overnight to make the water unfishable?

Back above 2000 cfs this morning... Good news is there's finally water in the river, bad news is it doesn't look like its going to be clear enough to fish anytime soon. Talking about LOTS more rain Wednesday night.

Looks like its dropping pretty fast. Weird how it shot up so high so fast . gonna check it out tomorrow and see what it looks  like. Probably chocolaty milk. .. Maybe just muddy ... Least we got rain

Had a big catfish on today and he came off. Other than that nada.  Water is muddy and high as you would figure.  Think its going to be a good year though. Looks good down there . stopped at talbot con area on the way home. Caught some bull bluegill and five bass.
