Fished both days this weekend. Spent our rainy/chilly Saturday from Owl Creek up to state line and managed 15-20 bass and four really nice crappie. One of the bass was a very nice LM and we had several other keepers.

Unfortunately, we invested 2 hours in those crappie. Quality always seems to be good in the White but can't say the same for numbers. At least not for my efforts.

Bass came on a spinnerbait, Bomber 6A crank, Senko, Keitech single swimmer and a crappie jig. Depths were from practically dry ground to no more than 12 feet.

Just FYI, there's a fair amount of mud rolling down from the Roaring River, along with quite a bit of floating debris in both the upper White and Roaring Rivers. Be careful running.

Launched Sunday at Viney and fished downstream to near the White/Kings split. Tough going for us. Managed about a dozen bass, of which two were nice keeper spots. The rest were sub-keepers. Spinnerbait, single Keitech and Ned were the players.

Sidebar - I  really like my new GillzMask and Glacier Gloves.  However, I seem to have trouble keeping the mouth hole centered over my mouth hole from the looks of the photo.  Lol. Champ didn't make fun of me too much.  ?

Thanks for the information. Nice healthy looking fish. Donna, glad you got to try out the mask. Looks like you're talking out of the right side of your mouth. With the water on the rise we will be blessed with floating debris for a while.
