Hammer time Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 Short trip but a good one! Put in at 10am temp at ramp 57.9 and 59.7 was the warmest I seen. Fished from ramp to Bridgeport and back. Stayed on channel and swings. Active fish I found where in 6-18fow. Caught em on mag wart rc and blade. Ended up with 18 and 7 keeps. 14 blacks and 4 spots and one slab crappie ate the rc. Cb's had to be banging and paused, basically crawled bait on bottom pausing after contact. Blade fish were on bottom also slow rolling big 1/2 oz blue herring tandem willow war eagle with big swim bait trailer. Great water color and very notable current had fish set up perfectly. Loaded up at 4:30. CPR and tight lines! buckwhisperer, Champ188, magicwormman and 9 others 12
