I have been reading threads on OzarkAnglers for a while, and have gotten tired of not being able to reply!
As the title says I like in St. Charles County and primarily stream fish.  I grew up in Rolla, so the Little Piney, Mill Creek, etc. are my home waters.  Now that I am a little further from the spring-fed streams, I am learning to adapt to Bass fishing.  I have hit a few ponds around the area, but am always on the hunt for fishable streams. The only place (within a half hour) I find myself returning to regularly is the area around Indian Camp Creek park.  Nothing huge regarding the fishing, but I really like the stream.

I am curious about Peruqe and Dardenne Creek but have yet to fish either stream.

Looking forward to giving what little advice I have and soaking up plenty from everyone here!

I too am interested in Dardenne Creek.  There is access just across the street from my son's house.  Unfortunately MDS I think is doing some work there right now.

Matthew Peaslee, if you send me a PM there are a number of small creeks just across the river in the "west-ish" STL area that I will share with you.

I haven't fished Dardenne in years and never outside of Busch Wildlife. I do spend a lot of time around the channelized suburban portion and to tell the truth all the sanitary pump stations spook me.

Thanks for the replies.

Snagged, thanks for the hope!

Greasy, I share the exact concerns, but I if you google map a short ways out of the heavily developed areas it looks great for fishing.  Access will be the challenge I might try to slip in off of Hwy Dd sometime.

jgentile, I will shoot you a PM!

They both have fish.  Access is difficult.

Peruque runs behind our yard.

Access is my pain point with both of those... They do hold fish, but man getting to them has always left me scratching my head.  I absolutely love Indian Camp creek.  Was out there last weekend with the kiddos, and caught a few gills, sunfish, and I even got into a 14in bass.  I'll PM you some details on where I fish it as well...

I'll be out around there tomorrow as I had a trip planned to go fish Spring and Roubidoux, but with the rain I figured a 2 hour drive to a blown out creek was not worth it :)

Ain't gonna happen.  Well you might get a few casts in but you will be escorted out pretty quickly.  That's my prediction.:)

I will steer clear then.  That was my biggest concern getting out into the farm land.  Back to the drawing board!
