Weather service is saying the the front developing and moving through the area Joplin to Anderson right now could add 2-3 inches of rain to that area.  They're saying this rain will be split between watersheds.

Corps says with the rain on the ground, TR's release is handling what's coming in to Table Rock.

The tone was optimistic that the dams can handle what's coming in unless the front stalls over the watershed and dumps 10 inches of rain on the area which they do not think will happen.  It's moving slow but it is moving and trending north a bit.

Hoping it passes over and dumps water elsewhere.

National Guard has been called out for Newton and McDonald counties.  It is terrible here with LOTS of flooding in parts I have never seen flood and I have lived here off and on my whole life.

That's not in the Beaver watershed, it is?

I think it is mainly going to drain to Grand Lake.  We're close to Beaver here in Bella Vista, but Little Sugar drains north and eventually to Grand Lake.  We just got a good hour long down pour, looks to be more storms forming to the southwest and heading this way.

Yep, Quill is right, it eventually ends up in Grand.  Everything from Neosho drains into Shoal and everything around Mc County ends up  in Grand as well via the Elk.

McDonald County no, but basically everything south of Aurora highway 60 west to Monett Hwy 37 south past Cassville to 76 drains into Flat Creek which drains into James.  Here at the house we had the inch yesterday, and another 3 today so far, so that is 4 so far heading to Table Rock.  My pond is overflowing, and the poor ole sump pump is working OT.  Page 4 of the following has a decent breakdown.

59 Highway from Anderson to Noel along the Elk is closed to flooding and they say it might be worse than the flood 2 years ago.  Several small towns around here ( Seneca, Noel, Anderson, and Sarcoxie ) have all been shut down and have had to perform emergency evacuations.  Shoot, here in Neosho it is flooding more than ever with house that have never seen flood waters are now up to 2nd story windows.  Very bad around here right now.
