hunting retrievers

Understanding this is not a dog forum but also understanding you guys got lots of outdoor interest and connections, I'm posting an off topic question.

I loss my best friend (pic with OAF id, passed away) hunting lab.  I have no breeder, trainer, or waterfowl hunter connections here at the lake and not much left where I came from (KC).

So I'm looking for a black lab to train for duck hunting - preferably a few months old so I can tell if it's likely to want to retrieve, like the water, and not be gun shy.  Should be breed from hunting stock.

Any help or leads would be appreciated.

Bobby, i will gather some info for you, may be next week. I have "ruined" some good duck dogs (labs) by turning them into bomb dogs over the years. I have some lab connections but the info is on my desk/computer in the office. Anyway, good stable dogs and lord knows I've traveled the nation procuring them. And the price is low. Im sure the folks would would be tickled to hear I'm not looking to "ruin" one. PM me for more info, Chris.
