Hunter91 Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 I fished all those lakes when I lived there several years ago. Lake Degray is not far from there also, so that may be an option. Each of those lakes have their challenges but all produced good limits for me but as I said that was several years ago.

Mike jones Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 Someone on BBC claims to have seen them launching at Ouachita. Suggs slipped up on his live morning interview and said they were on Ouachita.
Donna G Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 We went to Beaver once last year. It was windy, cold, didnt get a bite. I figured it must have been an Arkansas lake thing, so now i stay away. No, that’s a BEAVER thing. Why do you thing we drive from Northwest Arkansas to Table Rock to fish? Well, besides you guys. Nothing wrong with the Central Arkansas lakes. Mark Davis started guiding on Hamilton when he was 14 and later had a thriving guide business on Ouachita. Ron Shuffield was a DeGray rat. Cochran and Rob Kilby still live at Hamilton. Suggs at Ouachita. Anyone remember David Ashcraft, or Smash as we called him from Arkadelphia (DeGray)? There’s Mike Wurm. Stephen Browning, who still fishes the Elite Series. The late Ricky Green. All learned and honed skills on this trio of very different and fertile lakes in their own backyards. Plenty of pro anglers have come out of this part of Arkansas. Oh, and then there’s Champ188. lol BTW, we were married outside on the point at Hamilton’s Hill Wheatley Park 23-years-ago. Good times. dtrs5kprs, crazy4fishin, magicwormman and 3 others 6 Donna Gilzow Bella Vista, Arkansas The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. --John Buchan, 1915
Travis Swift Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 we fished Degary at the first BASS team series championship about 3 years ago or so and I can say this it was probably the most beautiful lake I had ever seen. Man was it just pretty there! I would love to go back sometime. Donna G and Champ188 2
