What is the deal with this lake???????? Other than higher water and them pulling water !!!! 

Fished Friday afternoon to Sunday night, and couldn't really figure out a pattern at all. Fish one area and could get bit on a jig and crawl but all those 14 1/2 to 14 7/8 fish, move to another areas and that bite would be a  worm and nothing on jig move to another area and nothing on jig or worm but spinner bait bite all fish were same size. Don't understand for last several years this lake I have always catch those just under 15 inch  so you would think after a couple of years it would be full of 15 and over not under 15. Fished from Son's Creek to Birch Branch to Hawker's

What is the thoughts about this.

I haven't been that far up.  The fish I have been catching are 17-20' deep on or close to points.   Are they in the brush up that way or have they moved out?

Bass and walleyes can be scattered this time of year, water rising and falling can exacerbate trying to find fish, as a rule secondary points with the wind blowing in fish are turned on more...east wind usually has a negative effect on the fishing...When fishing is tough go light..spinning gear 6lbs line green mono, 1/8 jigs tipped with a minnow or 1/3 of a crawler.

if you want smallies and walleyes, the 3rd of the lake near the dam is your best bet, largemouth, crappies the middle section, Crappie like to suspend near bluff banks around brush

fish with the wind and it makes it easier to feel light bites, if the wind is ripping fish can be so shallow their backs can be out of the water, stick baits on spinning gear 8lbs test can be wild for big white bass and walleyes...for bigger largemouth/walleyes try half a sluggo/fluke like bait on a 1/4oz quality realistic jighead hopped around ledge rocks....

putting your rod tip into the water can help with bite detection in wind...

in closing learn new spots every time you fish, keep a fishing log and you will see different patterns for time of year and weather...

I was pulling bass out of the buck brush on a baby brush hog monday.

Didn't know that there was buck brush on the banks at Stockton.  What part of the lake were you on?

button bush is common and great cover in higher water, willow as well

Some dude was catching carp on the Missouri River using willow leaves for bait.  He would hang them above the water and the carp would jump up and take them.  He strung them on line with a small hook on the end.
