Dan the fisherman Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Like stated, I sold my fishing boat the day after I got back from Florida. I'm not giving up on fishing, just wanted a new fishing boat and I couldn't bring myself to buy a new one till I sold the old one. Honestly I didn't expect to sell it so fast but that lite a fire underneath me to get a new one. Still have the cobalt for the kids so I'm still on the water but I won't fish off it. I'm looking at a center console boat for my next one, maybe a legend or a ranger. I'm still undecided. N e ways. Sorry I haven't reported in a while I'm still on the hunt for a fishing boat. If n e one has a newer legend, ranger or center console that would give me a ride in to help me decide, I'd appreciate it. Thanks Dan the fisher man. Carl W 1
J-Doc Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 Center console. Now you're talking. Dan the fisherman 1 Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
Quillback Posted July 15, 2017 Posted July 15, 2017 I believe Bill Babler is running a center console for his trout trips on Taneycomo, you might give him a shout. I used to run a 17" Whaler Montauk when I trolled for salmon, sturdy boat, never gave me any problems. (Motor is another story). Not a boat I would want to use for bass fishing however.
