What would the end cost be?   No Special Deals, you gotta make it worth your time.

Sorry for the lack of response, hadn't been on for a while.  Was down in AR using mine for a few days.  I've now run it for two full days and half a day with a lot of running back up the river.  Not sure how many miles total.  Also for two days I left it idling the whole time we were fishing.  Still on the original 6 gallon tank of fuel.  Pretty happy with that.   I'll come up with something and let you know.

You got it Dakota...There were several styles. This one is made from aluminum in the Big Piney style 17' long, 32' bottom, and 4' its widest point. The Charlie Barnes's White River style is a bit longer 20'x 4', a guy I know has made a couple in that style. http://duckworksbbs.com/plans/jim/ozarkian/index.htm The Current River Style is longer & narrower with more rocker http://rolf-man.blogspot.com/2008/06/current-river-style-john-boat.html

I'd guess around $2,500 materials and labor.  Materials for mine was right at $900.

Does anyone have the specs for the 17 ft Landau paddle jon? Have found a paddle jon for sale but it looks to be wider and with no rake on the stern. Believe its 18 ft long and 36 in wide across the bottom middle and 45 in across the top middle. Anyone have any thoughts on the pros/cons of getting a wider but assumingly heavier boat to float the Big Piney, James, etc...?

The boat has a 32" bottom, and a 47" beam

Is yours a 17 footer ?

I thought they kept the actual length just under 16' so you didn't have to have type 1 pfd's on board.
