Jdecoudres Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 Anyone know if there is a motor restriction for the North Fork of the White, or what the boating regulations is for here?
Gavin Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 No regulation just allot of obstacles. Low water bridge below Dawt mill, low water bridge at Patrick, old bridge pilings below high bridge at Blair, The rock garden not far above Blair, fairly clear from there to the falls at ROLF (2' rock ledge). Will need 1300-1500 cfs to run a jet over the falls. Maybe more. Has been done but not often. Low water McKee bridge about a mile above the Falls. Don't know what else you will encounter after the flood. Rent a canoe, toon, or kayak. Not sure if a jet can run the remains of old Dawt Mill dam either. trythisonemv 1
2sheds Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 This is a “kick-posterior” river for world-class wild trout fishing. Gavin is an SME. Follow his advice. I will also tell you that there are wild experiences to be had all along. If you need a place to stay, you can’t go wrong with Justin & Amy at Sunburst Ranch - right in the middle of the best trout waters. Johnsfolly 1

And they will shuttle or drive yourvehicle to takeout on their private property. Its amazing ...
Gavin Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 No camping at Sunburst yet, but you can rent one of their cabins and they are running shuttles & renting boats. Justin & Amy got back from their trip yesterday, so give them a call if you need any help down there.
fishinwrench Posted October 27, 2017 Posted October 27, 2017 How come that dude never gets on here anymore ? Now he has spokesmen. 😀 awhuber 1
Gavin Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 They have been a little busy rebuilding the CG this summer. Lost 7-9structures including the bathhouse, camp store and river house this spring and a whole summer worth of camping revenue. Would not be to critical. Super nice folks. awhuber and trythisonemv 2
fishinwrench Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Wasn't being critical, I just realized that he hadn't been talking to us in like forever.....even before the flood. Good boy, they'll be fine. I just miss his feed. The wife follows Amy on FB or I'd never hear anything. trythisonemv 1
