Just lowered my deductible to 500 for the year and the cost was 63$ extra.   I don't know how  I bought that original policy  Surely I wouldn't have agreed to a 5000$ deductible.  Next time I will read the papers closer.    Tuition for this life lesson looks to be about 1300$.  Luckily gears are all good.. just need new drive shaft bearings and seals..
