Crappie last night with the kids

Caught a few fishing yesterday with my buddy Coolhandfluke and our kids. We took a movie, sleeping bags, and snacks. The kids thought it was fun movie night on the boat. It was steady, but not on fire we fished for 3 hours. We ended up catching around 30 with 16 keepers most 11-12 inch were the keepers on minnows. Fish seemed to be suspended higher on the brush piles in 14 feet, but did catch some deeper. It was a good time and great weather for December. A lot warmer than tonight. We had a great time. Tight lines....

That's a great bunch of smiles and a mess of crappie! I'm sure that they all had a great time fishing.

Yes sir. Not as quiet as some crappie trips, but some good memories. Who knows how many we could have caught had it actually been quiet.

Great looking group.  How do you watch a movie on the boat, we take kids out on the pontoon and that would be fun for the little ones?

Here's an example of the set-up . charge it before you go out we had it on for 3 hours and it was still was working.

Never thought of that, I have a portable DVD player somewhere. I'm sure I paid much more than that. At that price it could go overboard and I wouldn't care.

Bet they did. Reminds me of the Drive -In.   Movies, snacks, sleeping bags etc.   Good times
