Members YakAttack Posted January 27, 2018 Members Posted January 27, 2018 And thanks again for blazing me a trail through the ice!
lmt out Posted January 27, 2018 Author Posted January 27, 2018 My pleasure. It was mighty windy coming back south ob Sunday in the modified v. Was wishing I had the Targa.
Members lundone Posted January 27, 2018 Members Posted January 27, 2018 Also fished 2 afternoons this week and not only had no bites but could find no shad anywhere in the Mutton area and very few fish. In fact, I saw almost no fish eating birds. Since you were breaking ice Lmt out, I assume the ducks were up the creek arms. Maybe that is where the fish are?
MrGiggles Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 I fished Thursday night and also got skunked.... Marked a lot of crappie on bridge pilings, but couldn't coax them to bite, tried everything I had. lundone 1 -Austin
lmt out Posted January 27, 2018 Author Posted January 27, 2018 Yes at that time the ice was just north of mutton. And I had the same problems in 5 he's of putting around never saw a shad school on the sonar. And marked very few fish. lundone 1
waterpossum Posted January 27, 2018 Posted January 27, 2018 Last week there were some shad schools just around the corner from the Hawker ramp (main lake side) Next to impossible to fish them because of the wind. They were 35-45' deep over 55' of water. dan hufferd and lundone 1 1
