Members pantera2 Posted March 5, 2018 Members Posted March 5, 2018 Putting restrictions on who can fish a benefit tournament is one of the silliest things I've ever seen/heard of.

Well in a nutshell, the thinking is that they'll draw more boats if the "hot sticks" are kept away. The more boats that participate, the greater the "benefit" amount. Carl W 1

snagged in outlet 3 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 It’s competing against your other charity members. Think of a parish golf tournament. Mr Mendica wants to get his catholic high school boys from the golf team to beat up Mr Mathews boys from the public school golf team. If you’re a big bad a$$ Pro why do you even care. Other than the few hundred bucks to the winner is why. Carl W 1
snagged in outlet 3 Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 And mr Mathews or mendica will donate the winnings back to the charity. That’s the idea. Make money for the charity.
