My life story in one sentence.

I like those greenbass. Never upset to catch one. You like those heads you are using on the fly?

I like those greenbass too. Fun to fish for and catch. Glad they like to eat my flies. I am starting to like the heads more and more. Beats building up heads with UV epoxies. Here I just use a bit under the head and zap it through the clear head and then a coat over the eyes.

I still haven't gone the UV route. Started to a while back and found out that Clear Cure Goo was gone. And then I just drifted off after that. I guess I'll never get away from epoxy at this point but I don't tie cool flies like you.

You do tie cool flys and I will like adding yours and others to my collection. Yes to the clear cure goo leaving the market. That is what I started with but I am using what I had left. Got some little tubes of the solarez in a three pack. Thin, thick and flex. Messing with it too. Cheaper and it really goes a long ways. The cure goo thin was nice in the bottle really thin and it would soak right into thread wraps. I did not like the syringe with the thin and thick. Had a tack and needed a cover of hard as nails or wipe with alcohol to get the tack gone. I think I will settle on the solarez  thin and invest in a big bottle for all of my UV uses.  On my balsa work still liking the 30 minute two part epoxy. Having a hard tome getting it locally. Everything is old stock I am thinking. One side of the double tubes is cloudy and thick. Looks like it is crystalizing or something. Need to get down your way and hit the big hardware store to see If I can find some newer stuff on the shelf.

They will drop it right at the house.

Thanks, may have to try that. Wonder how durable it is? Way cheaper in the long run at that price too. You have me wanting to grab the balsa and exacto knife. Have more ideas to try. This tribe of tiers in this swap may each get something to test out as a bonus. All you other weenies that did not participate are going to miss out,

I don't think that the durability is any different than what I used to buy a Wally World but it does seem to hold up a bit better and not yellow or get brittle like the other stuff.

New rule: no COD

So this means the bucks in the box I get back? It was COD wasn't it?
