Ok I went to Wal Mart looked for White Power Bait Paste. they didn't have it said it was no longer made.

Went to Bait shop down the road and they said they had plenty and had just got some in.

Ok what is the deal?

Walmart sucks. That's what.

I can remember when the Walmart sporting goods section actually had full time career dudes who only worked in that area of the store and that knew what they were doing.

I've seen some Walmarts that had a really nice selection of hunting and fishing gear. Our Walmart is definitely NOT one of them though.

Ok this was at Lebanon Wal Mart close to Bennett Springs State Park.

Wal Mart I really like is in Warsaw.

Lebanon Wal Mart tries to keep Trout fishing stuff I find it strange they don't have White Power Bait but Weaver's has plenty just higher price.

I don't bait fish a lot, but a jar of powerbait usually lasts a while anyways. Spending a little more to support the small business isn't a bad thing. Not many can compete with Walmart's prices anyways. It was probably still cheaper than if you bought it from Bass Pro or Cabela's anyways.

Walmarts everywhere carry a smattering of different powerbait forms. Even in Jeff City you can find it. Usually the dough and nuggets, not any eggs. When baitfishing Taneycomo with the fam I usually just wait and buy it at Lilleys. Figure theirs might be newer than Bass Pro. Plus, can get a heads up for any hot colors. I tend to think color doesn't mean a whole lot with powerbait though. White, chartruese, orange, pink. All seem to work if they are biting. Even bought rainbow color last time and that worked. For my brothers who do not take my word for it that they need 4lb green line and a size 10 hook, I will continue to out fish you dudes. I am always the one to run the boat and still out fish them. My favorite is when the accuse me of setting the boat up to favor me and then flip it around on the next drift and still catch fish. Water is fine on this side too boys.

Ok the White seems to be softer and leave a sent trail.

I bait fish on the river if I use Power Bait I use #12 Treble Hook, if I use Worms or Minnows I use #6 Straight Hook on 6# Test Line.
