Thermocline

Most of the fish were suspending in the 22-28 ft range this afternoon on the lower end; saw some evidence of a thermal layer but it was not consistent.  I  caught lots of fish on a 1/2 oz spoon but only 3 good walleye.

Around the Masters area its at 25' roughly. Its pretty spotty tho as i didnt notice much more towards the dam. Lots of active fish just above it.

Thanks so much for the info guys. I have been a couple of times lately north of CC and even with 35 ft of water couldn't find a suggestion of a thermocline.

This was taken this past saturday.  Cordinates are on the screen so you can narrow the area down.

That’s crazy how deep the thermo is.  This is by far the clearest water I’ve seen on Stockton though.  Those are beaver lake thermocline depths.  I guess I’ll dive a little more in Stockton this year and skip out on a few scuba trips to Beaver lake!
