straw hat Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Does anyone know how deep the thermocline is after all this heat. Thanks in advance. zarraspook 1
nomolites Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Most of the fish were suspending in the 22-28 ft range this afternoon on the lower end; saw some evidence of a thermal layer but it was not consistent. I caught lots of fish on a 1/2 oz spoon but only 3 good walleye. Mike terryj1024 1
Dutch Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 I found it here and there at about 25 feet but lots of places don't have one. wtr dogs and terryj1024 1 1
Ketchup Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Around the Masters area its at 25' roughly. Its pretty spotty tho as i didnt notice much more towards the dam. Lots of active fish just above it. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
straw hat Posted June 14, 2018 Author Posted June 14, 2018 Thanks so much for the info guys. I have been a couple of times lately north of CC and even with 35 ft of water couldn't find a suggestion of a thermocline.
Ketchup Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 This was taken this past saturday. Cordinates are on the screen so you can narrow the area down. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
Members streamer Posted June 18, 2018 Members Posted June 18, 2018 That’s crazy how deep the thermo is. This is by far the clearest water I’ve seen on Stockton though. Those are beaver lake thermocline depths. I guess I’ll dive a little more in Stockton this year and skip out on a few scuba trips to Beaver lake!
