lmt out Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Wife and I in one boat and Sister and boy friend in another had a pretty good day we had 25 with 9 keepers and they had 15 with 8 keepers. Bb with harnesses 20 to 25 ft was best. 2 best were 23 and 23.5. Wife edged me by a half inch. Lol Daryk Campbell Sr, liphunter, tho1mas and 14 others 16 1
Old dog 417 Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Very well done! Those are 2 fine wallys...and you refer to 40 fish with 17 keepers as a "pretty good" day? I think many of us would call it great! lol. od Daryk Campbell Sr and terryj1024 1 1
Members Fisheyes5 Posted July 2, 2018 Members Posted July 2, 2018 Thanks for sharing that. As you know, I can use all the help I can get. I'm the guy you talked to on the water yesterday. Cant wait to get back and try it again.
terryj1024 Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Awesome day on the water. If I got 40 walleye in one day I think my head would jump up and spin off my body I'd be so happy. I can go bass fishing and catch walleye I can go crappie fishing and catch walleye but when I go walleye fishing I don't do so good don't quite understand that one it's like going deer hunting and seeing squirrels and turkey LOL. But I'm relatively new to it I guess it's just trial and error. Thanks the report love reading them, tight lines all. Daryk Campbell Sr 1
terryj1024 Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Limit Out how's that new boat working out for you just wondering it's a good looking boat.
lmt out Posted July 2, 2018 Author Posted July 2, 2018 Well I am very pleased with it. The 150 pushes it 41 loaded and have gotten 43 with a good south breeze at my back. Lol. And the ride is great so love the boat unless you have an unlimited amount of money and could move up to a 21 footer. Lol. Even then I think this boat fits me better. Now the trolling motor.... I think I prefer my ultera I had in my other rig. But with that said I have not learned all the bells and whistles of having trolling motor and depth finder linked up so I am sure when I learn it will be much better. Depth finders. I love the ease of use for the hummingbirds on my other rig. But as far as I can tell I am able to distinguish fish better on my hds's. And again need to learn the bells and whistles better. But I am finding it hard to make myself learn when I get on the water I want to be fishing instead of scrolling thru menus. So with all of the the short answer is I love it. Lol. Thank you for compliment. terryj1024 and Daryk Campbell Sr 2
