Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 18, 2018 Root Admin Posted July 18, 2018 Here's the first of several videos from my trip. I have hours of footage to go through. Nothing fancy... just scenery and fishing. Big Creek is a tributary of the Naknek. It's a king salmon spawning river and thus the kings are somewhat protected. It's all catch-and-release. Kings can't be taken out of the water. I believe you can keep jacks though... a king under 20 inches. ColdWaterFshr and BilletHead 2
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted July 19, 2018 Author Root Admin Posted July 19, 2018 I tagged along with friend and guide, John McClosky, with a couple of guys from Denver.

Foghorn Posted July 20, 2018 Posted July 20, 2018 Enjoyed the video's- wasn't sure if the guy on the first one was ever going to get that fish in . The net work and boat action on the second was funny too!

Gotta find that middle ground.
JestersHK Posted July 24, 2018 Posted July 24, 2018 Sweet videos Phil! One day I'm gonna get up there... Looks like an awesome time.
