I’ve hunted at lake niangua, but never fished there. I always thought it looked like a fun place to catch a fish with all the timber and lily pads.

Me too.  Used to enjoy wading up from there in the Wintertime.   I'll pass on that now until I hear that the place has either changed hands, or they locate where that wacko hides his bodies.

Upstream from there is/was a great shoal.

My mom was driving us back to the spring hole and she’s doing 40 - 50 mph on that gravel road and as soon as we told her to take it easy she rolls the front tire off the rim.   She had a cooler though so we changed it out and drove it into Lebanon the next day to get it fixed.

Good woman, great time!

I had a Asian dude pull a knife on me at Edith bridge.  I walked past them and just said "How's it going, doing any good?", and this crazy basturd jumped up and whipped out a butcher knife.   I threw my hands up and said HEY, SETTLE YOUR @$$ DOWN! and kept walking.    I had an equalizer back in the truck and I truly contemplated getting it and ridding the world of that freak.  Who the hell does that?

I try to avoid that bridge at all times, gravel bars all around it are like beaches to the methheads. Use to be real bad down there.  Camden County Sherrifs keep a close eye on it now and have gotten that place cleaned up. Still I wouldn’t be around there on a Friday night or Saturday. Some of those folk around there are backwards.

I imagine the hunting is excellent by the time the sun had come up on Tuesday morning we had seen probably 15 deer

Used to camp and/or take out at Ho Hum when Chuck and Wanda Robbins owned it.  Nice place then, but that's been a while ago.  Who is this "psycho" and what is this "pipe in the chute below the main bridge??"

He's part of the Ho Humm owners family.  We were going to pitch camp there but he creeped us all out. When we said were leaving he got even weirder.    I talked to 2 other campground owners and the guy that grades the road (after our incident), and all confirmed that he wasn't just having a strange day..... he's a for-real strange dude.  Not "friendly strange", more like serial killer strange. No exaggeration.   Folks that have camped there have posted stuff on FB about him hanging around their site, acting strange and not leaving, and stuff like that.  I had it out with them on their FB page afterwards and they deleted it immediately.

Screw'em!  That dude needs to be institutionalized for life.
