What is It?

I realize the poor photo makes it difficult, I was at maximum zoom on an old I phone. It appeared to me to be a very small owl. It was about 6" tall on an wilderness lake shore in the middle of the afternoon. In the pic it kinda looks like it could be a cat, but in real life it didn't, really appeared to be an owl, or possibly an over stuffed very large chipmunk. Anybody have any software that can improve focus?

Could be an owl, possibly a screech owl. It would be about the size you mentioned.
