A 20'  boat is significantly more difficult to row than a 16 ft boat. For fishing one or two people, a 16 ft boat makes way more sense for maneuverability and drifting.

Somebody needs to tell those Norfork guides they're doing it wrong.

Guides Rowing has become way more popular. If that’s your desire, you’d be much better served buying a boat designed for that. That having been said, lots of locals guides are rowing the 20 foot topwaters fiberglass jons.

thats not my way of chasing em, but more power to the guys that do.

I took an all day guided trip on the White last Friday in a 20' Supreme with oars. For a guide, a 20' boat with jet and oars makes a lot of sense.  Lot's of space for two people casting a fly rod, and safer for the guide with new fly fishers that aren't good casters yet.  And obviously easier for the bait fishing guides with three clients. My comment was geared more for the recreational user fishing solo or with one other person.  That's where a 16' Topwater or Stealthcraft Power Drifter works best from my experience.  I fish solo, two and three people in my Stealthcraft Hooligan Standard that's 13.5' long. Awesome rig solo and with 2 people fishing. And fine for three people if the folks fishing are good casters with heavy streamers. Guides typically use the Hooligan XL's that are 14'.  I'm working on an order for a Stealthcraft UFO 16/42 power drifter now. Skinny version of the 16/54 sleds
