Fluoro mono or braid?

Wind is th biggest downfall for me and Nanofil, however when crappie fishing or walleye fishing (primarily my big 2) if it is windy I will hold my rod lower or if not too bad I simply watch for the "tic" in the line.  If too windy for that I usually am not there long.  Watching the line is why I like its high visability, I had some black power pro for a few days, about dark was absolutely invisible to my eyes.  Even my leaders are high visibility mono, green fuorescent P line,  Stren golden thread (had some left from monofilament years), or plain old fluorescent stren, glows nicely in the light of a hat light about dark.
