Jerry Rapp Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 why? You enjoy fishing the Ned, why change. You don't fish tournaments, it sure is a lot easier fishing with the light rod and Ned. Jerk bait fishing is work if you do it right. I still will fish a floating rogue as a topwater, but just don't enjoy jerking anymore(insert joke here Wrench). My go to isn't a Ned per se, but just a little Double Ringer with a 3/16 ounce hear. Just flip her out and work it back slowly and enjoy the day. liphunter and Daryk Campbell Sr 2
liphunter Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 I started to fish the ned because of Jeff's post and sharing. I'm not giving it up. I am a happy student. Not at his level by any means. But my fishing success has taken a tic up! BilletHead, Daryk Campbell Sr and Quillback 3 Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???

I mainly fly fish for everything including bass but when I get bored or fishing with a friend who is targeting bass I grab my friend Ned and go at it.
