Ranger Reata

Does anyone have or have experience with the 1850 Ranger Reata??  I'm thinking about selling my Ranger 521C and buying one.  Believe it will be more comfortable and safer.  I seem to fall into the water more now!  😆

I would quit drinking while fishing....I have a neighbor that just sold one, he seemed to like it fine. Anything specific you are wondering about?

I have fished out of that series a couple of times and enjoyed it. I'm surprised we don't see more around for the very reason you mention. When the lakes get busy, windy etc all the better.

I have a 620FS. Great for rough water. Deeper sides.  Also have the rear deck extension for the partner.   Love it.  I’m sure you can still fall out if you try hard enough.

I always thought that a Lund or similar with a 200-250 would be the best setup for LOZ and Table rock during the busy times

I have a 2009 Champion 186 Fish Hunter going up for sale in the next few weeks. 150 Merc. Opti. I will have it at the Big Bass Tour event next Thursday-Sunday at the Rock.

LOL. Believe it or not I very seldom have a beverage while fishing!!  But when I'm done..........  😲  I hate to admit it, but I'm getting old and the lake keeps getting rougher!  And........ the ranger is a single console and my wife does not like being exposed to the cold wind in the spring and fall, and definitely not in the winter. I am concerned about the ride (rough water) and stability when setting still out in the main part of the lake.  I know having a full windshield will increase the amount of fishing I will do with my main partner, my wife.

i am thinking that this may be the boat to last me until I just can't fish anymore!!
