dan hufferd Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 I was jonesing to get on the water, I did not care if it was high. I had a bad leak down on my power trim, I work on it, couldn't stand it, I had to try it out. The trim is now fixed, it was a check valve. Many thanks to Cope marine, and Fishnwrench for the trouble shooting and parts. I should have taken a picture of the floor of my boat, it looked like basspro threw up in there, as it turns out all I needed was this little 3/8 Binks spoon to make something happen. Nothing real big but I came home with a mess of fish, my trim works and I didn't have to speak to anyone. I call that a win !😁 straw hat, LoweGypsie, Targa98 and 12 others 15
Kramr Posted May 5, 2019 Posted May 5, 2019 Awesome Dan! Aren't you about due for another video? 😁 Gonna be there next week. Any advice on what depth to find walleye or crappie?

Any advice on what depth to find walleye or crappie? Yes i really thought about a video yesterday, i hate editing😲 it takes forever. The walleye was in about 24 ft cruising around over a rocking point, the white bass were 12ft in the pole timber working bait fish, very tight group you will have to do some looking. I could see what i thought was suspended crappie from 6 to 15ft. If i were to go for them i would do some drift fishing midway in the back of a cove over say 25 ft of water, or maybe better troll a blue tiger #7 flicker shad on a light pole let it run in that 12 to 15ft range. I have a lot to learn about crappie but i will tell you that we put the smack down on them late morning on mothers day with that blue flicker shad. Bust the banks early, when there are done go to trolling. Hope that helps. If you cross a point with that crankbait you may find some walleye. Kramr and Rootman 1 1

Pretty much rain in the forecast for everyday we will be there. We have rain suits and a bimini so unless the rain is coming in sideways, we should be okay. 🌬️💦

There is some green goo at certain depths, i did better when i go out just past it. You will see when you get there, a spoon finds all the goo😁. Good luck to you. Hope to see some pics.
