liphunter Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 I was trying to figure out where I wanted to try tomorrow. Any water condition info would be helpful, but really thinking about the Cedar Ridge, Aldrich area. Although I am not locked in on that. Thanks, Mike Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???
Krazo Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 put in a CR the last couple days. water clarity was pretty good i thought, prob 4' or so may be better. I didnt run towards aldrich, fished between CR and masters. didnt see any floating trees but certainly some debris in the water, mainly along the edges. liphunter 1
redshad Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 I was up there Sunday and around High Point water really muddy and lots of floaters. Couldn't fish because of all the floating crap in the water. clears up below the 245 bridge. dan hufferd and liphunter 1 1
Lifes2Short Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 Put in at Mutton Creek today. Water is pretty stained above MC and just lightly stained going towards the dam. Tough fishing today for us, a couple of bass and 7 keeper crappie on jigs. Water temps were 61 to 66. Old dog 417, oghfm and liphunter 2 1
Targa98 Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 You can see my last 2 post in the Mutton Creek title for how we did. We had some pretty decent luck yesterday. 12 keeper crappie and 1 nice walley. WT were 62-63 but we only got to fish less than 4 hours from 630-1030ish. Best results were actually in Googer creek across from mutton and it was very dirty. No floaters but almost like chocolate milk. We run back in there just to see the water and threw out a couple flicker shad and for a couple min and got bit so we stayed. Pulled the #6 flickers in water about 15-17 foot and caught the majority of our fish that way liphunter, terryj1024 and Lifes2Short 1 2
