m&m Posted May 12, 2019 Posted May 12, 2019 Healthy looking fish. Congratulations. What happened on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday? The details of fishing reports (successful or not so successful) are what makes this forum fantastic. Keep posting each day every little bit helps. Mike

Sunday was the slowest day we had probably due to all the boat traffic. My brother had 2 keeper smallies and 3 keeper largemouth after the first 2 hrs on a Ned rig. The largemouth came in a spawning pocket 10-15 ft. Probably on beds. Afternoon bite was a little better monday bite was a little better. Caught a few on topwater but no keepers. Caught a real nice largemouth on a swimbait on a point back in a creek arm. Ned rig dominated again that day with some nice keeper smallmouth on gravel banks we got rained on Wednesday. Caught one spot on a frog early. Dad caught a 18.5 smallmouth on a fluke and I lost another nice largemouth on a swimbait. Gravel bank with bushes again. didnt have much time to fish Friday but the front seemed to have shut them off The schoolers that came up chasing close enough were easy to catch. I used a white yellow magic popper on those. Some real aggressive blowups! magicwormman 1
