I hit a small public lake in central IL with my Pond Prowler.  I've been there many times and it's produced some decent bass up to 5 pounds but not yesterday.  I had on a Brown Fall Craw Bandit 100 from last week smallie fishing and they bit that thing on the first cast and for 5 hours until I left.  I actually lost the 100 series boat side to flopping fish and so I just put on a Brown Orange Craw color.  Not a sniff after catching them one ofter another for 2 hours on the Fall Craw.  I went through my box and found a 200 series of the same color and it was back on!!  Whoever says color doesn't matter I just have never bought into that and this p[roved it again.  I wouls say 75% of them were hooked on the front treble and several absolutely choked it.  Great day of catching but you can tell there is a 15" minimum limit because everyone of them was right at 14 or barely 15.  Still a great time when they just hammer it.

Oh yeah one ned rig fish but I just couldn't put the bandit down.  I thought a jig might catch some bigger fish but i was having too much fun with the Bandit.
