45acp Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 The Queen has informed me that we'll be taking the camper to Long Branch to spend a couple days with friends this weekend. I've also been voluntold that I'll be giving boat rides and pulling the ski tube. They'll stay up half the night drinking, so I'll have mornings to fish while they're loafing. I know about the spillway, but I've never fished the lake. My boat is a floating tackle store, so I'm not worried about having the right stuff with me, but I don't have the first clue about the lake and no idea which stuff is the right stuff, or which end of the lake to start with. I don't care a lick about fishing for largemouth. Prefer to target walleye and crappie in that order. I have a few preconceived notions, but any enlightenment would be appreciated. Thinking I might take a crate of jugs to soak while I'm exploring. Daryk Campbell Sr 1

I didn't even know there were walleye in LB. It's been many years for me, and we always targeted the green fish. Wish I could help.
45acp Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 I couldn't figure it out. Weather was about half crappy. Chased off the lake by rain Saturday and Sunday. Caught a lot of fish and variety of species in the spillway. snagged in outlet 3 1
