The wind was more of an issue however! I was flooded in, got out Sunday evening; ground so saturated that the wet weather springs were pumping water out after only 1" of rain, usually takes 2.5" or more. I never know what to expect a Capps, they have rain when I don't have and viceĀ versa and no river gauge in the area to check, so it's always a go and see affair.
ollie Posted December 3, 2019 Author Posted December 3, 2019 It's no big deal for me. I only live about 20 minutes from there! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!

ollie Posted November 23, 2020 Author Posted November 23, 2020 Yes it is. I'm not broadcasting this years event. Every year I make a post to invite everyone and normally you are the only one that shows up. We are doing it again this year for anyone who wants to come on down. This Sunday we will met at the lower bridge at 9 or maybe a little sooner if I can get my butt around quicker! lolĀ Johnsfolly and laker67 2 "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
