Lifes2Short Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Beautiful day on the water today with very little wind, actually barely a breeze. The crappie have certainly started to slow down with water temps at 41. We hit at least a dozen brush piles today and managed to squeak out a limit of some nice crappie but they are moving into their winter patterns. The jig color today didn’t matter at all for the crappie. Also had a nice limit of largemouth today on swim baits! Tight & Thumping Lines! olfishead, YakAttack, wtr dogs and 5 others 8

Lifes2Short Posted December 22, 2019 Author Posted December 22, 2019 Well contrary to what I said yesterday the bite was definitely on today! Went up by myself and ended up with 27 keepers, kept 15 to take to Colorado for Christmas 🎄!!!! Sunday Thump Day! laker67, Quillback, Daryk Campbell Sr and 5 others 8
Heretolearn Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 Congrats - water temperature still the same?
olfishead Posted December 23, 2019 Posted December 23, 2019 I'd bet the mountain people will appreciate those crappie! Better than those orange flesh fish. Have a safe trip. Lifes2Short 1
