Gumboot Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Been gone for a week and lakes up 8'. Lindley creek was running 20k. How much rain did we get?
MOPanfisher Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 We were only Abe to thaw out about 2.5 inches at the dam, but higher amounts fell in the watershed and fell fast at times. Winter and no active growing grasses etc to slowing down it ran off quickly. Lake level is started back down thought now.
tjm Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 I don't know about there but down here the ground is super saturated and any measurable rain will cause the hills to leak. 2" in the last rain caused runoff equivalent to what 6-7" might in spring/summer. Still have wet weather springs running full tilt days later. snagged in outlet 3 1
oneshot Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 I looked at Corps Site and it was saying it was fine. I’m thinking that can’t be right. TV said about 10 feet above normal. I say to myself now that sounds right. oneshot
Ranger520vx Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 I had 3" of rain in the Galmey area before the little bit of ice and snow we had.
MOPanfisher Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Oneshot, what COE site are you talking about. It shows 849 and change for Pomme.

MOPanfisher Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 It takes it a while to make down and begin showing up. Also the gauge for the lake level was stuck for a while, a slight jiggle and it jumped 5 feet! The Pomme River gauge was stuck for a few days as well and was showing over 10k long after it had dropped back. Hoping we don't get hosed again this weekeND but not much we can do about it except take it.
MrGiggles Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 I prefer the USGS site for lake levels. I like looking at the graphs. It's a mud hole up here. They're calling for more this weekend too, not good. -Austin
MOPanfisher Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 We use the USGS sites for lake level, those were the ones that stuck.
