Bgctrading Posted April 6, 2021 Author Posted April 6, 2021 That's where they were not sure why they couldn't get much action. I will be down there Thursday.
Members Ranger Dave Posted April 7, 2021 Members Posted April 7, 2021 I fished Spring River today (Tuesday). I did not go above the floating cabins. We caught about 70 whites and kept 40. Most were around 13" to 15". We had 4 fat ones that were 16". I am glad we only kept 40. I got very tired of cleaning fish. ollie 1

When you reference the bridge piers, do you mean the bridge on Hwy 10? If yes, how do you get above the first shoal north of the Hwy 10 bridge? Once I get to the shoal, I can't figure out how to get past it. I have tried going up the west side but ran into too many obstacles to pass.
BilletHead Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 Yes and stay way the the left after going through the wide flats river wide below. Shoal is really showing on top side. A few prop boats were passing there yesterday tilting up motor. Use caution and be courteous please. ollie Posted April 27, 2021 Posted April 27, 2021 And then it was over. 🙁 Well, not completely over yet. I did get a feed from yesterday with someone and friends catching the piss out of them somewhere up above 10c bridge. They were in some shallow water and apparently hammered them! probably hit and miss now.
