MNtransplant Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Anyone headed out tomorrow or Friday? I plan on fishing Saturday morning and Im trying to decide between chasing the whites or heading to Taneycomo...if the Little Sac is chocolate milk i may head south amd try the whites another time. Any type of water level/clarity report would be super helpful. Cheers!
Dutch Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 Level holding around 870. I plan to go Friday if they don’t get too much rain down there.

Dutch Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 He may have been. I don't know anything about river levels. All I know is what I read about lake levels. My boat won't go very far up a river.

bwcballer10 Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 I had planned on going Friday with my father in law but the river went from about 380 cfs to 1400 with our rain yesterday. That will make it pretty muddy for a few days. I think we will hold off and try Sunday instead. Later into the run I would say just go and fish the mudlines at the feeder creeks. But this early in the game I would say the water going from crystal clear to muddy is going to make fishing tough. It sounds like wherever you decide to try Saturday morning you better bring the rain gear.

Besides the last time I tried it was with a guy who said he knew just how to go. That little trip cost me $800. snagged in outlet 3 1
